David & Laura | Wedding Photography | Municipal Court of Seattle

Laura is a destination wedding planner who specializes in planning weddings in Hawaii. David is a consultant who dreamed of having an intimate small wedding. Laura gets to plan and attend weddings all the time, so she was happy to have a small wedding. They got married in the municipal court of Seattle (my assistant and I were the witnesses!), and then they sailed into the sunset on Lake Washington.

David and Laura got married in the Seattle municipal court. They had a beutiful ceremony with just the two of them. My assistant and I even signed as the witnesses. I know a courthouse wedding sounds sterile and plain, but the seattle municipal courhouse is one of the most beautiful places I\'ve shot a wedding, up on the 20th floor and overlooking seattle was an amazing view of the seattle skyline. David and laura had a beautiful intimate ceremony on the top floor of the seattle municipal court. Isn\'t she georgeous?

David and Laura had their reception after wedding celebration aboard a sailboat on lake union between gasworks parks and south lake union park. I love doing wedding photos of couples who set aside some time for some relaxed wedding photos.

Engagement Session Info | Photo Shoot Locations | Seattle Washington Area

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about engagement sessions recently so I thought I would cover some of them here. My engagement photo sessions usually last 2-3 hours and can be at any location or locations of your choice. The best time for taking pictures is in the evening when sun is not directly overhead. Most sessions are scheduled on weekday evenings or Saturdays.

Think of a session more like a date with your fiancé, and less of smiling and looking directly at the camera (smiling is still a good thing, in fact smile lots, and laughing, flirting and joking are all acceptable too!). You can take a picnic basket and blanket to the park, a canoe to the lake, or just bring yourselves and we’ll stroll around town and get an ice cream cone. The options are unlimited. Choose a place with a special meaning, a scenic location, or a spot where you just love to hang out.

It’s important to wear clothes that you love and feel good in. 2-3 outfit changes are welcomed, and they give variety to the pictures. It’s best to leave any bags or purses in the car so they’re not in the photos. Also leave sunglasses behind unless you plan to wear them in the pictures.

Xiaozheng & Ning | Wedding Photos | Luther Burbank Park, Mercer Island

Xiaozheng and Ning had a beautiful ceremony on the north tip of Mercer Island at Luther Burbank Park. Ning is really into photography and set aside a lot of time for pictures which was awesome. We got some fun bridal party shots in Bellevue at their hotel and bride & groom pictures at Luther Burbank. Check out their slideshow at the bottom.

First look. Seattle Photographer gets wedding photo of groom seconds before he see\'s the bride for their first look on the wedding day. First looks present and opportunity for the bride and groom to get in some extra photo time on the wedding day without having the worries of having the wedding guests stand around waiting fro them to arrive. You have guests coming in from all over the place why make them wait, when you can do it before. Of course we respect your decision to not see each before the wedding ceremony if you choose.

Aaron & Amanda | Wedding Pictures | Seattle, WA

It was great working with these two on their special day. Their bridal party was a hoot and we had a lot of fun playing near downtown Seattle.
