Do you remember Sara and James from their engagement session last month? Well, they got married over the weekend in Olympia. They made time to do some fun portraits at the capitol building before the ceremony. When it was snowing and raining, it was nice that we could take pictures inside the capitol building, then come back outside when the sun popped out. Sara and James are way cool and a lot of fun to work with. The wedding and reception were really nice. I have to admit, I love weddings. I love everything about them, the planning, the getting ready, getting some sweet shots once everyone’s ready, the ceremony and of course the dancing. It was a lot of fun recording Sara and James’ wedding.

This is their first time seeing each other. Look how excited they are.

I met Greg and Tara at Discovery park. It’s pretty much a forest along side a beach on the Puget Sound. We had an adventure hiking around a ton and playing on the beach. All morning and early afternoon I watched it hail, snow, and rain outside, but by late afternoon the clouds cleared and it was beautiful. We got really lucky! It was great meeting you guys! Congrats on your engagement.

Megan and Simon got married at the fabulous Saint Michaels church near the University of Washington. The reception was held at Salty’s in Alki.
It was a lot of fun. Check out some of the pics.
The girls knew how to have a good time.
Simon is Scottish and wanted to wear a kilt, but Megan didn’t think that was such a great idea. But she did surprise him by getting the Seattle Firefighter: Pipes and Drums band to come play and escort them out of the ceremony.
