The day after Thanksgiving Chris and Lyna had a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony in Tacoma and then a reception in Seattle at the New Hong Kong Restaurant.

Traditional Vietnamese weddingThis traditional asian wedding was amazing there were over 500 guests, I had two associate photographers with me and they kept us busy the whole timeWe did a photobooth with all of the guests and we had cards with a picture of the guest and the couple to take home that were all printed within minutes of having their picture taken.This cake was amazing, Chris is a huge Nike fan, so what would be better than a big nike shoe for the groom’s cake. Many people looking at this wedding cake didn’t realize until after staring at it for minutes that it was actually a cake and not a real shoe. Notice how the shoe resembles the bridal parties shoes.

second dress:

The actual ceremonies took place at the parents houses in Tacoma and Fife. Then the reception was held at the New Hong Kong Restaurant in the Pacific rim center in china Town near downtown Seatle. Travis & Nicole | Wedding Photography | Monroe Washington

Travis and Nicole flew in from Arizona to be married in Travis’ parent’s backyard. That is where Travis proposed, so it is a special place for them.

Travis & Nicole Had a beautiful backyard wedding in monroe washington. The wedding had wonderful flowers, catering and beautiful place settings. And of course seattle wedding photographer joshua gene took some photojournalistic, rad, laid back, wedding photos.

I love this old guy. He\'s got so much wisdom, and such a sweet smile. I love to take pictures of people that will be cherished and loved for generations.

Look at this cute little flower girl, isn\'t she adorable? I love her cute little dress. During the wedding she held her dad\'s hand tightly while holding her stuffed bear in the other hand. Quite the little trooper, portland wedding.

Here’s a little self portrait of me in the background, while Nicole was checking out how smoking hot she was in the mirror.

So as I was taking some shots of nicole from all different angles I found myself in the mirror, I quickly moved out of the way then quickly back in for a little self portrait photo before the wedding photography. The wedding was held in monroe washington which is in snohomish county washington and north of duvall washington and south of lake stevens washington and east of mill creek washington and north east of woodinville. Really it\'s only about a 45 minute drive from seattle, mukilteo, lynnwood, mountlake terrace, hollywood washington, fairmont, and edmonds washington. Lord hill regional park, not to be confused with lord regional park in washington is only a short distance away. If you keep heading north you will run into Mt Vernon, also spelle mount vernon washington, everett washington, burlington, sedro woolley, bellingham, bellingham way, friday harbour, lynden, ferndale, anacortes. Food was catered by Herban feast market fresh catering, and the food was delicious phone 206.932.4717 The absolutely delicous cake that had a little mishap with the cake toppers falling off was made by the award winner bakers at Karls bakery and cafe, carls bakery and coffe shop, carls bakery and cafe located in everett washington, Karls bakery and coffee shop 2814 wetmore avenue everett wa 98201 phone: 425-252-1774 store hours m-f 6-4 sat 7-2 closed sunday.

Seattle Wedding party does a little hoorah and a toast. I love capturing these real, and psuedo real moments. This shot was created using a nikon d300 with a shutter speed of 1/100th of a second f5 and iso 200. All of the blur was created by twisting the camera while taking a picture, sometimes like this it turns out perfectly, usually it doesn\'t, takes a bit of experimentation to get this shot right.
